A home theatre enthusiast in Bangkok, Thailand, created a 138” diagonal 16:9 home theater screen with a total projected area of 5 square meters, using Screen Goo High Contrast coatings. Black velvet surrounds the projection surface, helping to absorb excess light. The other walls in the room are covered with matte black wallpaper and matte black paint, making for a beautifully light controlled theatre room.
A Panasonic AE4000 High Definition 1080p projector is mated with “Dune HD” player that can playback HD video material from both Bluray Disc and attached hard disk. “DVDO” video scaler is used to upscale and enhance image quality. Electric current used in the system is purified by “Clef” current purifier. “Onkyo” THX 7.1 surround system is used, comprising of 7 speaker mated with 12” subwoofer.
