Here is a video published by our S.E. Asia operations, Goo Central in Singapore, showing a UST (Ultra Short Throw) Hitachi projector using its built-in writing and annotating features. An electronic stylus allows the user to write and/or annotate directly onto the matte Screen Goo coated surface without casting a shadow.
Depending on the specified brightness in lumens of the projector and the desired image size, users can choose between Screen Goo’s Reference White, High, Max or Ultra Max coatings to achieve excellent contrast in virtually any ambient lighting conditions. Any one of the above mentioned Screen Goo surfaces can produce an ideal combination of excellent contrast, unlimited (4K-8K-16K-32K) video resolution, no hot-spotting and class-leading off-axis performance, guaranteeing a bright, legible image for every audience member.
Two Reflective coats followed by two Finish coats of whichever Screen Goo coating is used then finished with two light sprayed coats of Screen Goo Rear Projection coating – which will harden and make the surface scratch resistant – is all that is needed to create the perfect video projection + digital annotating surface.
The video below shows how it’s done.
