Screen Goo Shows at Infocomm Beijing 2011

Screen Goo has been one of the show highlights at Infocomm Asia, Hong Kong and Beijing over the past few years. This year too Screen Goo awed Chinese visitors at the Infocomm Beijing 2011 held at the Beijing National Convention Center April 13-15. Screen Goo was shown in cooperation with our Hong Kong, Macau and China Distributor CosmoVision.

Using an EPSON PowerLite Model 8350 Home Cinema projector providing 2000 lumens in 1080P resolution, content provided by a Panasonic Movie Cowboy 1080P resolution Media Player and showing all this on a Screen-Goo-powered 86 inch Max Contrast screen manufactured by TSC (Thai Screen Central) – the Screen Goo Distributor in Thailand, exhibition visitors were questioning whether what they were seeing was a high definition LCD or really a projected image on a flat piece of Sintra board! Despite having an open roof and the exhibit flooded with powerful ceiling lights, the Screen Goo Max Contrast stood out with brilliant “whites” yet solid and deep “blacks”. In fact hundreds of visitors commented favorably about our “courage” to show live video on our screen under such intense ambient lights while most of the other projection screen manufactures at the show were showing no video on their wares.

“This was another opportunity for us to show that we are not shy on putting up breathtaking video in such a harsh environment such as a trade show, with huge overhead lights shining down our booth,” said Chris Cladis who represented Goo Systems at this show. “Our Max Contrast coating was rolled on a sheet of Sintra PCB board and that was all that was needed to produce a superb and well balanced picture. I will certainly not comment as to why others did not put video up on their screens at the show,” Chris said.

The Chinese market is extremely price competitive with hundreds of projection screen manufacturers, many of them also exhibiting at this show. Screen Goo was bold and proved once more it can produce extremely price competitive products using superior optical projection coatings’ technology that stands unmatched in today’s world markets.
