“The screen I made from this has exceeded expectations….”

We receive lots of customer testimonials and it would simply be quite repetitive to publish all of the Screen Goo “experiences” users have while making their home theater rooms.

Not to brag about it but the vast majority of the testimonials we receive are complimentary to the high performance and eye-popping brilliance of the Screen Goo generated image while some of them are also offering suggestions on how to improve our product, its packaging, product variations, etc.

And then…. sometimes, we receive some very useful testimonials on the actual “making” of a Screen Goo screen which we feel would help anyone who wanted to make a high quality projection screen as well as first-hand testimony on what to expect from a day of “getting down” and “getting dirty” but… in the end, feeling very happy with your “masterpiece”. The following is such a testimonial of Garth K., a Screen Goo user out of Calgary, Canada who was kind enough to not only send us his experience but also to allow us to publish it here.

“I purchased a Goo kit late last year from the “Goo Guru” here in Canada. The screen I made from this has exceeded expectations so I put together a page on my site documenting the process as it applied to my situation. This might be of interest to some of your other customers. If you would like to have someone take a look here is the direct link. If suitable this can be posted in  a “review” section and/or otherwise be used as you see fit.”

“The title of this article is something of a misnomer,” writes Garth on his webpage. “What you’ll find documented here is just a personal experience with “Screen Goo”, not a comprehensive guide to screen making. Screen Goo is a product for making or, rather, painting your own high quality TV projection screen at a cost much less than that of a similar quality pre-built screen. You do, however, need a flat, reasonably smooth surface such as a wall on which to paint the material. A willingness to deal with some of the mess that goes with painting helps.”

To read the whole piece Garth wrote please go here – we feel that you will find Garth’s experience definitely worth your time, if you are in the market for making a projection viewing room your family would thank you and friends would envy you for!

"Here is a snapshot of my Goo screen in action with an actual frame from a DVD. Taking a photo in an almost totally dark room at ISO6400 is no way to win a prize but still, the un-retouched image suggests something of the detail and natural color Goo makes possible."
