Screen Goo Americas exhibits at LDI Held in Las Vegas October 19-21

Now in its 25th year, Live Design International (LDI) has become the leading tradeshow and conference for live design professionals in North and South America.

Over 8,000 attendees working in theater, concerts, houses of worship, corporate presentations, clubs, theme parks, and any other live venue come to LDI from 72 countries to see the latest gear in action, refresh their knowledge, and replenish their creativity. More than 300 exhibiting companies provide attendees with live demos and the opportunity for face-to-face discussions about equipment including: lighting, sound, projection and special effects.

Screen Goo Americas and Rose Brand our distributor in North America exhibited here in a rousing display of some of the best products in this industry! Several other companies also exhibited Screen Goo products as part of their integrated offerings some of which we show below.

One of the show-stoppers was the display of 2 separate Rear Projection screens, one projected on Plexiglas and another one on Rose Brand’s Glassless Mirrors. You can see a (low-resolution phone camera) YouTube video showing these and a general view of the Screen Goo Americas booth below:

Below are photos from the show as well as photos from the TMB booth showing 3D Projection Mapping. Some of the photos show the Hippotizer display at TMB Booth at LDI-2012 showing 3D Projection Mapping using Screen Goo High Contrast coating on a physical structure. Traditional projection screen is seen in the background while Goo-coated 3D structure is showing at the front.

To see a great video of this display at LDI-2012 please click on the YouTube video below:

Another interesting application using Screen Goo at LDI-2012 was at Reel Video, a maker of roll-up LED video walls and full service live event video production house where Screen Goo Rear Projection was coated on a flexible Plexiglas material placed on top of the LED screen to greatly enhance and expand the viewing angles of their LED floors. To watch a YouTube video showing Andy Gerber of Reel Video explaining the process and results of this please click on video below:
