The Hainan Sanya Buddhist Cultural Theme Park is located in Hainan Island, a popular tropical island in the South China Sea. The park is huge and it features a 108 meter tall Guanyin Buddha statue – fourth tallest statue in the world – amongst beautiful scenery and luscious gardens.
Sinad Display Technologies, (Beijing) Co. Ltd., a long and very active Screen Goo distributor and contractor recently installed a 600 square meter (6.458 square feet) curved surround (circular) screen powered by 9 Barco 20,000 lumen soft edge-blending projectors.
This was a renovation project in a very challenging tropical (humid) environment. The previous screen installed about 4 years ago had started to crack and peel off the surface only two weeks after installed!
As one of the photos below shows, the Sinad experienced crew did lots of crack mending and finally sealed the wall off with a locally sourced suitable primer. Then it was 2 coats of Screen Goo High Contrast Reflective coats followed by 2 coats of Screen Goo High Contrast Finish coats.
The end result? According to the venue owners, “much better pictures and overall quality”.
