Display solution providers Vistron were faced with multiple challenges in creating their winning bid for their appointment to design and build a 360° immersive experience area in the Quang Ninh Exhibition of Planning & Expo Center at Ha Long, Vietnam.
Their first challenge involved the design and building of the curved structure that would anchor the project. The second challenge was to ensure that the projection surface be able to provide wide viewing angles, excellent black level retention and the high degree of image uniformity required to to seamlessly edge-blend the high resolution output of multiple Christie H-series projectors.
Thanks to Screen Goo’s High Contrast coating system, the second challenge was met and exceeded. A 14 metre diagonal curved screen was perfected with Screen Goo High Contrast and a landmark attraction, our first of hopefully many in Vietnam, was born!
