The Nature Interpretive Centre, Taman Wetlands, Malaysia

Goo Central P/L, Screen Goo’s customer service center for S.E Asia, brought the magic of Screen Goo to one of Malaysia’s eco-tourism destinations recently. These photos and videos once again attest to Goo’s freedom and flexibility of design which makes Screen Goo the chosen front and rear projection product with architects and designers all over the world.

In a recently concluded project at the Nature Interpretive Centre at Taman Wetlands in Putra Jaya, Malaysia, our Rear Projection coating was used in two separate stations; both being Interactive Floor Projection applications.

For this project, the floor was first painted with normal white wash as the customer specifically wanted the projection area to be white. Next,  Screen Goo Rear Projection coating was applied on top of the white wash. A final layer of epoxy was sprayed on top of the Rear Projection layer to protect the surface from wear and tear because the floor was going to be stepped on. The media content was made withmotion driven Video Gesture Control technology with the person’s motion resulting in interactive floor special effects.  Butterflies were chosen to correspond to motion. Imagine seeing butterflies appearing and fading away with fleeting movements. The projector was mounted overhead and our Rear Projection coating was used uniquely in a front projection application. This showed the color and magic of the projected media!
